With the time change we were early every where we went today. Decided to stop off at Bell park just because it wasn't closed. It is a small park with a very attractive water feature (pond, waterfall, fountain, a couple of bridges over the water). The benches are made from concrete but have been molded to a very smooth curves that make the attractive. There is also a statue of Christopher Columbus in the park. Not sure why he is here. He seems to be pointing at something in the bushes. (No telling what that could be since this park is in Montrose)It is a pleasant place to sit in the shade and listen to the sound of water.
